International - Mount Waverley Rotary

The Rotary Club of Mount Waverley is actively involved in the following International Rotary Projects:

• Youth Exchange. Students go overseas for a year and students come to Australia for a year funded by families and by the Rotary Club.
  

• Support for the Lotus School & Orphanage in Garchuurt, Mongolia. See the bus project below. We also have delivered clothes and medicine/vitamin parcels in the past.
  

• We have helped expand the "Together for Cambodia" Children's orphanage and school in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Specifically books for their new library and funds to assist purchases of computers and other goods for the school.
  

• We continue to support the Wheel Chairs for Kids project where wheelchairs are built and sent over to needy countries in South Asia and Southe East Asia
  

• We continue to support RI Foundation efforts to eradicate the Polio disease throughout the world.
  

• RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service) donation in kind projects for Lotus Childrens Centre in Mongolia and for schools in Papua New Guinea.
  

• Together for Cambodia Orphanage in Siem Reap Cambodia
